Anticipation of the holiday season is in the chilly air as pumpkin pie is replaced by peppermint bark, and falling leaves are replaced by falling snow. The Christmas and New Year's season brings many festivities, like time with family, shopping, Christmas vacation, and fun filled holiday activities. For many people, this season can be the busiest time of the year, with stockings to be stuffed and trees to be trimmed; so, I've taken the time to compile a list of fun holiday activities that you won't want to miss. You won't have to check it twice to find something new that you will enjoy this holiday season.

Christmas music
Perhaps one of the first things that remind us that Christmas is near is when radio stations start playing the holiday classics. Whether it's lip-singing Mariah Carey's ``All I Want For Christmas Is You¨ or going Christmas caroling, Christmas music can be celebrated many different ways and is a great way to get us in the holiday spirit.

Sled riding and tubing
What's more exciting than flying down a huge snowy hill at top speed? It's like a winter roller coaster that's always worth the effort of getting back up the hill.
