Dear Mooney Parents,
Although Mother’s day has come and gone and we await Father’s day, we cannot express how grateful we are for each and every one of you. In May, our moms received the well deserved recognition for all that they do for us, such as packing our lunches and making sure we clean our rooms. For our dads, the sometimes underdogs, we can’t thank you enough for your continued support — but the celebration can wait until June!
Thank you for everything you have done for us. Thank you for the endless amounts of support that you have shown over our past four years at Cardinal Mooney. You have provided us with the love and understanding that could last a lifetime, and we will be forever grateful.
Without you, our faith and trust in the Lord would not be intertwined into our daily life. We will forever cherish all of the memories we have made with you and with all of the people at Mooney. We cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us.
We know it will be a difficult transition for us all as we head off to further our education in the coming years. We pray that our relationship with our parents will stay strong as we begin life in the real world.
With tremendous love,
The Beakon Staff

Thank you, Lord, for my parents. They have nurtured me and provided for my needs throughout my life. I am so grateful for their love, attention, guidance, help, understanding and wisdom. They have sacrificed so much for my good.
Help me to be as loving to them as they have been to me. Open my eyes to ways that I can be a blessing to them. Grant that I would be a source of joy for them, and that I can honor them as they deserve to be honored.
As they age, keep them healthy and strong and surround them with loving friends and family to support them and bring them joy. May Your peace reign in their hearts and Your love always encompass them.
Amen.
